Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to provide a comprehensive documentation of the housing and land market intervention policies in China between 1998 and 2012. Firstly, the policy measures implemented during the period will be briefly reviewed, and then the effectiveness of the policy measures implemented in the capital city of Beijing will be tested.
